Summary | 0010892: Squad members sent on missions forget to drop job items
Description | I sent a squad on a mission and noticed that one of the squad members was lagging behind the others. It turns out that the order to join the mission happened while he was carrying a rock, so he dutifully took the rock with him on a mission.
Steps To Reproduce | Send someone on a mission while they are carrying rocks.

It's probably the same reason they bring whatever they were carrying (often a rock...) when stationed, or when the expedition leader/mayor is called upon for a meeting, or (infuriatingly) when a civ alert is enabled. Seeing your cavern wall making squad try to save the precious rocks (by carry them BACK to the fortress) when fleeing an FB isn't exactly fun. |
|
One workaround is to always keep the squad active, and have small armor and weapon stockpiles in the barracks to minimize time spend hauling loot. |
