| Summary | 0012946: When attacking an evemy civ raiding fort(Invaders), triggers visitors to attack anyone around them. | ||||
| Description | I noticed whenever snatchers would show up and I would send in my military to dispatch of them, I would get an alert that a bunch of dwarfs had all of a sudden died and my tombs would fill up. I realized that any time I attacked an invader that I am at war with, Goblins or Elves, this would trigger my visitors to go crazy, including visitors from my own civ, and attack anything around them. My citizens along with military, will kill all the visitors and bury them. Shortly after this I will receive notification that a bunch of barons and baroness' are now visiting (presumably the ones that took the place of the visitors that died previously), only for a new season to start, an invasion to come through, me to attack this invasion and my visitors to go crazy and get killed again. So far I have not found a way around this or a fix. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Wait for an invasion to start. Meet the invasion with military. Visitors immediately go crazy. I am unsure how the event first started, it only started happening after king arrived with this entourage and my pet hydra started attacking the visitors first. | ||||

I have a bit more info. The problem started when I attacked a goblin fort that was previously one of my civ forts. I raised and destroyed the site resulting in a war between my civ and these goblins. Now every time these particular goblins attack and they are killed by my military, the visitors in my tavern from my civ try and defend those goblins. I have tried to run the fix/civil-war command on DFHack, however that does not seem to result in anything. I am still receiving trade caravans from my civ. |

I'm experiencing the same thing, though I haven't had a hydra attack anyone. I do have a pet dragon that occasionally gets loose and runs armok. It's possible, though unlikely, that she toasted a visitor or something. Regarding raiding, I have raided and captured several goblin sites, though none of them appear to be of dwarven origin (all are pits except for three hamlets). This has happened twice in a row. Once during a goblin parley, as soon as the goblins decided to attack and were within sight of my military, and a second time with a lone goblin snatcher, again immediately upon line of sight with my military. I have a save if it would help. |
