I think it's established that there is one or more pathfinding bugs out there. Now the trick is figuring out how to reproduce one.

Crossposting from 000018

Easily replicated. Built a fort, dug a straight 10z stairway down and started fleshing out my outpost. No issues until now.

As soon as I start building a wall(just one side to start, not enclosed) around my entrance pathing goes nuts and most dwarves go to No Job and all progress slows down considerably.

Note: Easy to spot with Fisherdwarves. They went from "Fishing" to "No Job" almost at the same time.

Not sure if this is related, but my dwarves seemed to find it impossible to move barrels from one stockpile to another (when one is set to take from the other). They would walk between each pile, stopping at the barrels with a question mark.
Is this the same bug or does it need another report???
