Designating the brook to be dug isn't that odd - I guess it's like having to "deepen" a shallow river before you can make it a proper one. The warm stone stuff is definitely weird. Do you have any natural volcanos on your map? |

I'm curious if you can get a dwarf to melt by dropping them in that water. |

So on reloading the save today, I noticed that the brook is no longer flashing like it was yesterday, though it still can be designated, so I guess that has nothing to do with it. No natural volcanoes, magma is 25 storeys down and I wasn't able to see any magma adjacent to it. So I have no idea now :/ |
