Summary | 0002197: Corpse stuck on impassible/inaccessible workshop tile, can't be buried unless workshop is removed
Description | A goblin snatcher got into my base and my militia commander dispatched it without trouble. However, when it died, it somehow fell into one of the impassible tiles of my Mason's Workshop. Because the tile was impassible, my dwarves were unable to dispose of the body or take the remains. In any case, disassembling the Mason's Workshop fixed the problem.

Old bug. You can deconstruct the workshop and the corpse will be hauled away just fine. Same deal with fortifications, sometimes a corpse will be punted into fortifications. The only way to get it out is to remove the fortifications. |

Got a dwarf stuck in my clothier's shop after the last major incident. |

I think that this may be expected - there should happen with corpse failing into inaccessible tile? Teleport to nearest accessible? Why? |
|
Possibly related to 0005512 ? Both involve impassable workshop tiles not being thoroughly impassable. Corpse and pieces that fall onto walls or trees stay there. However impassable building squares like workshops and statues and fortifications don't have the same kind of 'non-floor' tile created above them that would stop things falling in. |
