Summary0000228: Prepared roasts revert to component materials on unpause
DescriptionI have seen some related bugs with cooking liquids. My cooks seem to be able to create roasts from booze just fine, and people can even move, eat, and store these roasts. However, as soon as I unpaused the game after saving, all of my unbarreled roasts disappeared and reverted to the base material (the first item in the stack).

As soon as I unpause the game:

I will try and upload the save.

Perhaps related to this bug?

Yeah, it's related to that bug, i think. the problem seems to be that boozecooked meals occasionally melt into a puddle of their primary ingredient, which then clutters up the workshop, as it can't be dumped as it's a liquid without a container. If the meal in question was a masterpiece, you can get bad thoughts for art defacement, which may also relate to http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=303

I'm also having this issue. Note that the liquid shows up as a separate entry in your kitchen list for cookable/brewable foods (it will list, say, Dwarven Wine twice if some of it is sitting outside a barrel). However, even if it's set to cook, it won't be used since it's not a container.

I saw this for the first time today. One of my dwarfs got the munchies and walked over to the food stockpile and picked up a masterwork dwarven syrup roast out of a stack of 30. It melted, prompting a 'A masterwork of Urist McCooksalot's has been lost' along with an unhappy thought for the cook. Confused, the hungry dwarf picked up another roast. It also melted. Apparently enraged or really into syrup, he proceeded to work his way through the entire pile of roasts, melting each one. Maybe he just really hates the cook and wanted to drive him mad.

And yes this sounds exactly like http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=303
