| Description | I've created the parameter set that can be seen in additional info. Every time I try to create a world with this set, DF hangs at "setting temperature" and becomes unresponsive. Hitting escape/enter does nothing, I can only close the game forcefully, by shutting down the process. This only happens with this one set of parameters: I've tried changing temperature and temperature variance to no effect, so the issue must be elsewhere. No world rejects are generated either. | ||||

Worldgen becoming unresponsive generating a huge (257:257) world is not all that unusual. Have you tried actually letting it run and finish the worldgen? Note, this may sometimes take HOURS. |

Given lots of worldgen changes since 0.31, this has probably been fixed. Please reopen this or PM a manager on the forums if it is reproducible in 0.44.09+. |
