Summary0003763: Trolls don't destroy doors
DescriptionThe goblins bring trolls with them. But they do not destroy my doors, they simply stand behind them and do nothing. Until they get killed by my traps or archers.

Save attached. Not 100% sure if this save is from the siege, but I hope it is. If it's the right save, you should see trolls in front of my doors, just standing there.

Steps To Reproduce1. Get a siege with trolls
2. Watch them stand behind doors not destroying them
Additional InformationMight be because of weapon traps right in front of the doors? Not sure, but keep it in mind (they destroyed my trade depot/kennels outside the fort, but always get stuck at the doors next to traps)

It looks like the trolls are trying to destroy the doors rather than just deconstruct them - if you use the (t) cursor and examine the door on the right, you'll see "Xlimestone doorX", meaning in a little while that door will be completely gone.

I guess they should be made faster then, they work on said doors for way too long.

I've had a megabeast do the same thing - just hang out at a door.

Yes, certain types of furniture (generally, access-restricting ones like doors) are destroyed in place, not deconstructed. There is an issue if the creatures are too close to the door (0004814), but building destruction generally works.
