Summary | 0004545: 76 population and still no mayor
Description | I'm fairly certain the population was over 50 before the most recent migrant wave (okay, I hadn't looked, but I don't think it was a 27-or-more-dwarf wave) so it's not just a matter of the game catching up. Basically, my fort is at 76 population currently and there's still an expedition leader rather than a mayor. A custom Dungeon Master that should have been appointable by either at 50 population also isn't appearing. The game's heavily modded, but the only change I made to the noble positions was replacing the bugged vanilla DM with an appointable one. I did have to change the raws once after worldgen, in order to use the workaround for obsidian to be usable (and also take FLIER off of sprites due to zombified ones causing job interruption spam.) Nothing shows up in errorlog.txt other than the usual "path fail" stuff. Save is here: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4235
Steps To Reproduce | Build a fort (not sure if the mods are behind this one.) Play to 50+ population. Check your nobles screen.
Additional Information | Another possible bug: a dog corpse I was trying to get out of the well appears to have disappeared when I started pumping the area. There was a bit of "item inaccessible" spam, then someone buried its leg and the spam stopped; "Rakust somethingorother's partial skeleton" still shows up in the stocks menu, but zooming to it just takes you to the well space which, apparently, only has water in it now.

What month is it? Normally, elections don't happen until the 15th of Hematite. Also, the skeleton-that-isn't-there is due to 0000895. |
|
Uh, lemme check... it's 1st Hematite. I'd assumed you automatically got upgraded to mayor when you hit the population threshold, so I'll play a bit more and report back. |
|
Looks like the mayor got elected on schedule, and the DM is now available. |
