| Summary | 0005315: a dying dwarf from abandoned fortress is an immigrant |
|---|
| Description | Started a fortress in a very dangerous area - dwarves got slaughtered by zombie parakeets. 2 dwarves were alive when the fortress was abandoned - one of which was severely wounded and unable to breathe. Started a new fortress, and the dying dwarf came as a migrant - severely wounded and unable to breathe, he dropped dead after walking a few steps.
The problem is not that he's a wounded dwarf that is immigrating - the problem is the fact he shouldn't be alive at that point, since he would die if I just waited for a few more moments before abandoning.
 |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Presumably - start a new fortress, make it so that a dwarf receives a wound that is going to kill him very soon (heavy bleeding, inability to breathe) and abandon the fortress. Start a new fortress and wait for him to immigrate. |
|---|
| Additional Information | It's a pocket world, very low number of civs, very long history, very high savagery and number of beasts. The whole world has about 200 dwarves living in it. In a larger world it would probably be very improbable to reproduce the event due to large number of dwarves to pick from for migration. |
