Description | I have no idea what particularly happened, but I'll try to explain what happened as best as I can figure out... I have no idea what may or may not be relevant. - The caravan arrived and my broker got in a meeting where I was asked what I wanted. I requested the broker at the Depot. - The broker went to the depot without a discussion of what they wanted from me. I did some trading. - The broker was un-requested and had the meeting about what they want from me while I ordered leftover goods taken back from the depot. - After the meeting, I saved the game and closed DF. - I loaded the game and the caravan left without taking anything. All the stuff is now considered mine. The trade depot is completely missing without having been deconstructed. I am rich beyond my wildest dreams and the dwarven caravan may possibly hate me. | ||||

You said the depot is completely missing. It sounds like SOMETHING - maybe not you, maybe a rampaging dwarf or enemy - deconstructed the depot? You might be able to see this in your game log. |

Here's the only relevant thing in the log: Merchants have arrived and are unloading their goods. (here I traded for stuff including some much-needed logs) Construct Bed (3) has been completed. (here I saved/loaded) The merchants need a trade depot to unload their goods. There was no destruction or deconstruction. The thing was just gone at game load. |

1. Was your trade depot made of wood? 2. Are there heavily worn (i.e. "x"/"X"/"XX") items scattered around the former location of the depot? 3. Are you using any mods? If your answers to those questions are all "yes", then this may be a duplicate of 0004878. |
