Summary | 0006494: Drink Barrels Become Invisible and Unusable At Still
Description | I have barrels that are still listed in the "stocks" screen and which can still be found by hovering over the space they occupy with "k", however the dwarves will not drink from them or generally interact with them and their sprites are not visible. I tried to reconstruct the still, and they would not move the barrels, but acknowledged that an item was blocking the site. I was able to get them to move them by marking them as "dump", but they did not reappear when moved and the dwarves will still not interact with them when un-forbidden.
Steps To Reproduce | Unsure. I've never seen this happen before.
Additional Information | The save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8596 The invisible items were under a note marked "magical items" on z = -5. On reload, the items have disappeared from the main screen, but still live on in the "stocks" screen. (They are the ones marked for dumping) Zooming to them from the "stocks" screen zooms to an empty tile. I was using the still normally in the decentralized workshop complex found here: http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2012:Workshop_design#Decentralized_Workshop_Complex . One of my dwarves had recently failed a mood.

Has there been any flowing water in that region? |
The post and save at 0005373:0020901 from 0005373 mentions this happening as well. |
Reminder sent to: Striker2117 Can you verify if you were using any mods/utilities or using vanilla DF, if there was water flow in that area, or if your error log contains relevant errors? Thanks. |
I was using vanilla DF, so no mods of any kind. There wasn't any water flow in the area. The error log did contain a lot of loop path failed errors and double DOUBLE TAGGED ITEM and a few site map errors. I didn't think to preserve it in its state from when the error occurred, but I have uploaded the error log after a few more hours of playing here: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8599 |
Error log generates Extra Item Occupancy errors. |
