| Description | When assigning equipment / creating uniforms in the military screen, picks are considered a foreign weapon type. Presumably that's not right since dwarves can make picks and use them all the time. | ||||

Same issue with high boots. (edit: this is a red herring, on this particular world apparently I can't make high boots, so they really are foreign) |

It is a feature, probably the culture doesn't like high boots.. Not a bug really, though I think picks never are considered weapons in DF. |

Picks certainly are considered weapons, they're listed right there under (W)eapons on the military screen, and they are stored in weapon stockpiles. |

They use a weapon skill other than the base dwarven ones, probably the cause of this bug. Skill:Mining |
