Summary0007277: Cave-ins that happened re-happens again every loading on first tick
DescriptionWhen loading a fort where a cave-in has occured, the cave-in happens again on the first tick, potentially killing stuff that was supposed to be safe.

Also, cutting some of those cave-ins were caused by tree felling, I don't know if this is supposed to be a bug?

Additional InformationAs of now, 0.40.03 is out and I haven't upgraded yet, but haven't seen anything similar posted in the fixed bugs, so here it is.

I can confirm. In 40.04, sections of a cavern that have been damaged by tree growth and tree removal remain suspended in mid air until the game is reloaded, then collapse on the first tick. I also had one surface tree that was chopped remain floating until reload, at which point it collapsed.
