Summary | 0007702: All tiles marked as "No Wagon Access" while Depot is in construction
Description | If you try to use "D" to check Depot Access while a trade depot is in construction (and no other depot currently exists), all tiles on the map are marked as "No Wagon Access". Once the depot is constructed, tiles and the depot are marked as accessible/inaccessible properly.
Steps To Reproduce | 1.) Generate a world, embark 2.) Designate a trade depot to be built anywhere 3.) At any time before the depot is fully constructed, use "D" to check depot access -- all tiles will be marked as inaccessible.
Additional Information | If any depot currently exists, checking depot access works normally. If all depots are deconstructed and then one is scheduled for reconstruction, the bug still occurs.

Since I'm unable to find a bug about this already on the tracker, I'll point out that the depot screen behaves similarly if you have a trade depot that is currently forbidden. I *think* this is intended behavior (if you don't actually have a usable depot, then there's no path to it), but it could definitely be more clear. |
|
I'm seeing it as a bug, because (it seems) various tiles on the map should be accessible or inaccessible regardless of whether or not you have a depot. Perhaps I'm just misunderstanding, but it would appear that it's not looking for a path to any particular location, just saying which locations are reachable and which aren't, which is independent of your depot. |
|
Depot accessibility is measured outward from the depot, not inward from the map edge, so if there is no depot at all, there is technically no depot access. |
|
Yeah, there's no bug here. |
