| Description | Vermin that gnaw their way out of confinement remain on the animal list and cage list after they've left the map. They aren't present on any of the units lists nor pasture list. | ||||

They most likely haven't left the map, they just don't appear on the units list. Try assigning them to a cage or pit and your dwarves will find them. It would be nice to be able to get rid of them, though (pitting doesn't work 0007957). |

I just checked the stocks screen and it shows only one bat. It's 50 z-levels in the air (invisible,) so caging isn't going to happen. My other two bats are nowhere to be found, yet still on the animal list. Edit: It seems they disappear and reappear from the stocks list. I don't know if it's an actual bug, then, but it's certainly an annoying behavior. |
