Description | When the total number of seeds in the fortress reaches the seed cap, the oldest seeds are removed. If those seeds have already been planted in a field, the field will revert to fallow status and require replanting if any appropriate seeds remain. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | set the fortress seed cap to something low embark with a few seeds and lots of fruit build a farm plot and plant the seeds brew the fruit watch as your planted seeds disappear | ||||

What's the expected behavior? |

I would suggest excluding planted seeds from the removal logic. Alternatively, you could convert seeds to "sprouts" or "young plants" soon after they are planted, instead of at the end of the growing cycle. Having a crop which has been growing for a month suddenly disappear without explanation is not player-friendly. |
