| Summary | 0008809: Dwarves depart workshop with "no job" before returning to work on subsequent workshop order | ||||
| Description | When a workshop has multiple orders queued up, the dwarf who completes one order will walk several tiles away with "no job" as a status, then turn around and return to the workshop to complete the next order. Miners perform similarly when assigning one-tile mining jobs. | ||||

| | This bug also affects siege operators, significantly impacting their rate of fire at higher levels. |
| | I believe that is intended behavior. How long dwarves idle in between tasks depends on their personality as far as I can tell. I'm not sure which traits play in here specifically...my guess is on one or more of the following: HARD_WORK, LEISURE_TIME, DUTIFULNESS, ACTIVITY_LEVEL. Either way, the time they stay with "no job" differs between individual dwarves. |
