Summary | 0008812: Animal dies on workshop, dwarves will not haul
Description | You need to destroy the workshop/de-construct it in order for the dwarves to haul the corpse otherwise it will sit there and rot and create miasma. The workshop in question is the carpenter workshop.
Steps To Reproduce | Let an animal die on a workshop tile.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||

Is it on a 'walkable' tile? If it fell from above, or possibly was knocked backwards with a charge, it might be on a workshop tile that dwarves can't reach. |
|
In such case it would be a duplicate of 0002197, "Corpse stuck on impassible/inaccessible workshop tile, can't be buried unless workshop is removed". As noted there, this issue is also occurring with fortifications where it is probably more often noticeable. |
|
We will chalk it up to that. kruno, if the corpse turns out to be accessible (on a walkable tile) and all proper hauling tasks are enabled, please reopen this report. |
