Summary | 0008834: stockpile taking from still/kitchen breaks 'link-only'
Description | Any stockpile set to take from links only will only receive the items produced from or stored in the source, until taking from a still or kitchen. After that, anything not expressly forbidden will appear from any source, and items from any source will go potentially anywhere.
Steps To Reproduce | Create a pile with global permissions that takes only from links, then take from farmer's market that processes quarry bush. All outputs from that workshop's jobs will appear in the pile, and only from that workshop's jobs. Link to kitchen or still and items that could never come out of a farmer's workshop or kitchen or still will appear in that pile. The workshops' products and byproducts are no longer guaranteed to appear in that pile.

I was unable to reproduce this bug in v0.44.12. Containers (e.g. barrels) were assigned and subsequently transported to the stockpile despite "taking from links only" with no links. Items not in containers were not stored in the stockpile, even when linked to a kitchen and a still. If you can reproduce the problem, we need a more detailed description and/or a save. |
