Summary | 0008963: Werebeasts appear in the middle of the map
Description | When werebeasts attack my fortresses, they seem to appear somewhere in the middle of the map. I know that they can't just be animals or other visitors turning, because this happens even when I know that there are no humans on the map and I see them change back into a specifically human form. I'm not sure if they might sneak an and turn, but I haven't seen anything about that behavior on the wiki.
Steps To Reproduce | Just create a fort and wait for a werebeast to show up.

Werebeasts "sneak" up to your fortress now, and aren't announced until they are detected. Is there some reason to believe that the werebeasts could not have reached the middle of the map while sneaking? |

I've seen this several times, where the change draws attention to the intruder on the map. I've even had a werebeast sneak all the way into the barracks, where it was killed by the two full squads training. Which resulted in five more werebeasts. This is not a bug, I would say. |
