Summary | 0009023: Hauling priority too high, blocks all but priority 1 mining jobs
Description | From this forum post: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=151968.0 The miners in question are ignoring designated mining jobs, preferring to stand around repeatedly taking and cancelling "inaccessible" wood hauling jobs instead. Bug report 0000600 describes the problem with out-of-burrow jobs being constantly cancelled. Since mining is a "skilled" labor that requires equipment, while hauling is not, hauling should be lower in priority than "standard" priority 4 mining. Setting the mining designations to priority 1 does allow the miners to break free from wood hauling, but that effectively reduces the 7-value priority system back to a single value, unprioritized system.
Steps To Reproduce | embark in a jungle cut down multiple trees define a large wood stockpile designate some tiles for mining watch as your miner hauls wood

Ok so to fix this problem that i have figured out, is to just hit v-p-l, navigate to Hauling then Shift+enter |
