Summary0009267: Traders bring magma in bags.
DescriptionTraders have been consistently bringing magma in bags for the past few years of my fort.
The result is a yearly fire that burns down the surrounding countryside and a lot of trees collapsing.
Can be pretty devastating.

Reminder sent to: Kaet

Are you using any 3rd party utilities or mods or is this vanilla DF? Do you have a save demonstrating this issue?

The only change is I installed the phoebus graphics pack.
Oh and I made dolomite the only flux, to make it easier to find, and removed Aquifers from most everything.

Heres a save with traders just arriving.

I can confirm this happening twice in my game. The only modification is a graphics pack, no changes to any materials or whatever.

Trader arrived with a silk bag with 10 magma in it. The first time it happened, two fires started, one on the edge of the map where the traders came through, the other on my wooden trading depot. The second time fire only my depot.

Above-ground depots means that the whole map catches on fire due to the trader running about with a silk bag full of magma. Also, trees collapse and the burning roots make holes in the ground.

Both times were on dwarven wagons.

The civilization has a powder material that is set to magma. I can't get it to reproduce in new worlds. It's possibly coming from some sort of broken reaction definition that produces material-free powder, but it would have to be a generated one or modded, and I can't find any generated one that would trigger it. The best I can do is patch out the behavior for now, and wait for more leads.
