So you are saying cost of prepared meals in young fort is too high? 15000 per barrel is nothing too much special. See http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Kitchen#Trade . Also, there can be other high value/low weight items in that barrel or even barrel itself can be of high quality. Such balancing will probably have to wait for a true return of economy to DF. |

I have a single stack of 137 of a prepared meal. The meal has approximately 40 ingredients. The total value of the stack is 33017, or 241 per serving. That seems a bit absurd. Save attached, see =macadamia nut roast [137]= under prepared meals. The meal was created in the late summer or early fall of the first year of my fortress.
