Summary0009509: Wheelbarrow assigned to stone stockpile loaded into mine cart
DescriptionI had a small stone stockpile served by 1 wheelbarrow. A Route Stop took from that stockpile, as well as others (including the one where newly produced wheelbarrows were brought), and dumped into a Quantum Stockpile.
During my dwarf R&R break I'd set the stone stockpile to take from links only to disable its use, but I observed the wheelbarrow hauled to the mine cart, dumped, and then hauled back to the stockpile repeatedly, until I disabled wheelbarrows from the mine cart's carrying selection menu (fortunately, I don't mass produce wheelbarrows, and they're not lumped under Tools).
Additional InformationI'm using the LNP r03 with the Phoebus tile setm Dwarf Therapist, and DFHack.
I'm also using the Crimson Crops 0.2 mod that modifies crops growth time, planting seasons, and yield, as well as domesticated bird egg production.

I haven't checked if the same behavior can be produced with a stockpile to stockpile link, where the receiving stockpile also accepts wheelbarrows.

Actually, disabling wheelbarrows from my mine cart menu did NOT stop the dorfs from hauling the wheelbarrow to the mine cart. They're still hauling it to the mine cart and then back from the quantum stockpile.

The problem is because there is a stone stuck in the wheelbarrow. Toady should fix this bug by making wheelbarrows always dump when a dwarf stops using them as a wheelbarrow. That would also correct the problem of a dwarf carrying both the wheelbarrow and a the stone in it back to the stockpile when a dwarf abandons a hauling job.

Thanks for the explanation for the behavior, Veroule.

While this behavior is caused by abandoned contents from an unfinished job (0006074), dwarves probably shouldn't be treating wheelbarrows as "storage containers" in a general sense.
