| Description | My fortress' created wealth is currently -191835913, even though every sub-tab like architecture and displayed wealth is significantly in the positives. Is it possible for fortress wealth to overflow? I haven't received a migrant wave for at least 30 in game years now as a result of this bug. | ||||

The fortress is full of "booming metal"; how exactly did you create it all? For instance, if you DFHack'd many spiked booming metal balls into existence and then melted them down, the game might subtract their (extreme) value from your created wealth, leaving you with a legitimate negative value. |

I got the original booming metal from a divine vault with an adventurer, then collected the rest by melting and reforging trap parts for a hundred years with bug 0006027. :P |

It might be of interest to check what the melting/reforging process does to wealth. Perhaps the bug's "extra" metal is "compensated for" with a buggy value loss? |
